Keep having to re-login in Opera

I have posted in several Opera forums, but not getting any response.

I keep having to login to sites. This does not happen with FF.

Where is the info kept ?

Is it kept in cookies ?

I have noticed that Opera has issues with losing downloads and script errors.

What version of Opera?  Never happened to me.  Menu > Settings > Preferences > Forms > enable password manager

to access ALL of Opera configuration options type the following in the address bar then press enter:
opera:config
