Here is a COM example saving the desktop image to a BMP file.

Usage :

SaveDesktop bitmapname.bmp
[attachment deleted by admin]

pBitmap is released now before termination - Bug fixed.

Tool built as GUI application to avoid the appearance of the console window.

I keep telling myself I need to learn about all this COM stuff that I have no idea about. Not sure where to start.
