i doubt the "sound system" inside my PC can handle much above about 12 KHz - 16 tops
certainly, the speakers roll off pretty fast above 10 KHz

why ? - are your dogs barking ?   BigGrin
(American slang for tired feet)

that is an old trick from DOS days
