Is there a program that can tell what the times are for things that load up on bootup.

For example how long does it take for a service take to start etc.

I am particularly interested in the time frame from when I login until the desktop comes up.

Thanks,

I have a little program named "Windows uptime" good just to see how long the boot up takes, but not much for each start up program.
Had it so long,I don't remember if it was a free prog,or a pay one.

here is a link, and it is free.

It may be I don't load or use any virus or malware checkers.

i have played around some with "slipstreaming", if you know what that is
a lot of guys in those forums go out of their way to achieve a short boot-time
it makes little sense to me, unless you are troubleshooting some kind of problem
let's face it - hopefully, you only boot up once per session   :P
i would much rather have a machine that i boot up and it works properly

I am happy with my one and a half minute bootup.

I remember when I had Win 98.

I spent a lot time reinstalling the O.S.  :bg
