I was just a kid when the movie Evel Knievel came out.(Old man now) It had the actual footage of the wipeout at Ceasers Palace (in slow motion of course).
We had to have gone back to the Theatre 4 or 5 times.
Those were the days.
We had no life.

I grew up watching Evel. His son Robbie has done more spectacular jumps then his father ever could, Evel did his jumping on Harleys, Robbie did his jumps on custom modified dirt bikes that can better handle the impact of landing. But there is no denying it, they were and are daredevils of the extordinary kind. :bg
