Once again, the newly installed, IT-mandated "Mcafee Total Protection" at work picked up a false positive on runcpl.exe and multidl.exe; only this time, instead of simply complaining about it, it straight up deleted it; gone forever, with no warning, no options, and no recovery.  I feel so totally protected.  :'(

I wish.  Apparently the new system is  set up as being centrally managed from the firewall, so to change settings, unquarentine things, or even just turn the thing off, has to get done by remoting in with a special account.  They won't give me access, because then "everyone would want it and be unblocking the porn sites and stuff."  To add insult to injury, aside from deleting false positives, it randomly crashes my system every few days.  I'm just going to start killing the fucker from task manager every morning.
