Forever the reason, recently some of our newer members delete their question after other members and the team spend the time to answer their question. people who do this need to understand that this forum is not a commercial help desk and should not be treated like one. As so many questions are common across many programmers, when a question has been answered it remains in the forum database so that others searching for similar answers can access this data without having to ask the question again.

W would ask that newer members do not delete or modify their posts after they have been answered as it wastes the effort that other members make to both answer the question and put data of this type online for others. We can make postings non-editable to prevent this happening but that would be inconvenient to other members and we would prefer not to have to do this if possible.
